On November 3, 2017, “Sushidokoro Sugiyama” opened in Mishima, where I was born and raised.
Taking advantage of our 30 years of experience in sushi, we aim to be a restaurant that is not only delicious, but also a homey place where everyone can enjoy themselves more casually.
This is a sushi restaurant where craftsmen and customers can spend a pleasant time eating sushi while facing each other.

Equipped with 5 counter seats that can be used casually by one person. We will create a special time with a homely atmosphere where you can glimpse the work of the hand grip by sticking to a wonderful single board and a wooden showcase.
There are 14 tables where you can relax comfortably. On the wall, the plasterer craftsman hand-painted Mt.Fuji. It is also ideal for banquets from small to large numbers.

In addition to fresh fish caught in the local Suruga Bay, we are particular about direct delivery of Edomae conger eel from Tsukiji and cod milt and shellfish from Hakodate. We procure the best seasonal seafood from all over Japan in the best condition.

The authentic taste that the owner learned during his apprenticeship in Hokkaido. I couldn't forget the taste, so when I put it on the menu, the special handmade gratin became our shop's signature menu. It is very popular with women because of its deep richness and piping hot creaminess.
